how deep is their future rotation and the hitters aswell?
can we still get the same excitement of their rivarly?

I can't speak for the Red Sox but the Yankees future is indeed very bright. They have studs on thier farm teams and have used 4 or 5 of them this season with success. The emrgence of Joba Chamberlain as a potential setup reliever with stopper qualities will spell Mariano a break. Humberto Sanchez , who we got from the Dbacks in the Johnson trade, had sucessful Tommy John surgery and will be back strong next year.The Yankees future is bright with or without Alex Rodriguez.

This rivalry has and always will be the best in baseball. The reason it won't diminish is because they have large markets, they are both willing to spend the necessary money to compete, AND they play 19 times a year plus they meet in the playoffs. The players love the rivalry and so do the fans and the media.
I don't know much about the Red Sux farm system, but I do know they have some talented position players. However, the Yankees farm system has the most talented pitching. There are also two or three top notch position players there too.

This rivalry will never loose any of its excitement!!!! These clubs have the MONEY, depth and the rotation where its going to be a dog fight for the AL EAST CROWN for A long time!!!

I think the Yankees have a great future with all that young pitching they have & yes they still have a team that will always be a thorn in the Red Sox fans side. Yankees rule!!!!!!!!!!!! Boston's future, who really cares?
