I really really love the name. It is on me and hubby's list as Enya Victoria. Don't let anyone tell you what to name your child. As long as you like it then go for it. It is a beautiful name. :)

Enya reffers to the famous singer-composer, and therefore liking it is a matter of liking the artist. The word Enoia in greek means 'meaning', so if you come to think of it it is suitable for a new born child, as a symbol for it's 'giving meaning' to the parent's life........

I prefer the name Anya / Anja (pronounced un-yah) instead of enya. I think it just looks and sounds prettier. My cousin is called Anya and it is such a beautiful name. it is russian and means favour and grace; such a beautiful meaning for a baby.
('enya' means kernel or nut)
