Should I worry now or is this something new? I haven't had a pap at a regular gyno in years. I'd been letting my family doc do it. And before that, I went to the health department.

You didn;t mention age - but I would suspect your uterus was a bit bigger than normal (maybe fibroids which are usually meaningless).

Not likely worrisome.

But next time - ask him!!

You have a right to know why he is ordering tests :))

there could have been something that showed up in the test and he wants to double check to see if there is anything in there that shouldnt be.. like a growth..
