this has always been the issue for me, the thing that stops me from accepting myself
my inner labia is larger then my outer AND only one of them. the other is small.
i cant even go for a bikini wax, let alone get close to my boyfriend im just so insecure about it.
is it even common? especially to have only one thats big? and stick out like that quite a bit?

Don't sweat it those parts of bodies are weird on guys and girls and really very hideous. Fortunately we are wired to love them no matter what shape or size. As long as it isn't painful and it is clean then you are set. And I would think not uncommon. If we were all the same though the world would be very boring.
It is very easy to be self conscious about that area of the body but in reality that is the part that matters the least when it comes to actual looks as it is rarely if ever seen and even when it is... there are other things far more important going on. Love that you have a cute quirk and someday when he gets the chance your boyfriend will love it too.

My labia were uneven for years. They evened themselves up eventually. Mine also stick out from the outer labia. I get stressed out about it a bit, but there's nothing I can do. I don't want anyone to see them either, but from this site I've learned most guys don't mind (some even prefer them long) especially not if they like you, or if they just want a piece of the action. I'm sure your boyfriend won't mind. You'll just have to learn to love your body and be brave, that's all you can do really.
Whoever says the surgery is cheap and easy...that's wrong. You need to see a specialist, it is a lot of money, and potentially risky (it is such a sensitive area, there is a risk of losing pleasure later on etc.).

Yes, it is normal for some women to have the labia minora (the inner set of lips surrounding the vaginal opening) to be longer than the labia majora (the outer set of lips that covers over the labia minora and vaginal opening).
But check with your doctor as well because sometimes a hormone imbalance can cause this area to grow excessively.
Someone mentioned surgery to remove the excess skin and I had the surgery done 10 years ago because I had a lot of physical pain and irritation when wearing underwear and pants. If I had it to do all over again I would have never had the surgery done.

You dont need to worry about it, big labia is sexy and its common for one to be bigger than the other. What you described sounds perfectly normal and to be honest all womens bits are attractive and yours will be no exception.
You can have the confidence of knowing that when your boyfriend looks at it, he will be turned on by what he sees, I can pretty much guarantee it and he proberly won't even say anything.

I know what you are going thru..my outter labia are large, as in large enough if I wear jeans they show...as in read my lips lol..
I was always worried about how I looked down there until I met hubby, and he convinced me I was cute down there...well I still dont see it, but he always...well shows he likes me like that..
Just relax...your guy cares for the whole you...he is not concerned about measuring your labia...

find a feller that has one testicle that's larger than the other and hangs down lower than the other..... really!!... go over to men's health and read how many guys are trying to figger out if they're 'weird' because of it.... only if it becomes painful to you should you consider surgery.... as it is, it's a mark of your individuality!!... I know gals who would USE that.. as in having it pierced with a ring to show it off!!!... relax and enjoy ......

Styling the labia is a simple and inexpencive operation.
Most G.P's will be able to do it for you.
