I am 15 girl and he is 16 boy. We are best friends for more than one year. We never miss each other even a day. Mostly we spent time either at our home or his home. Cool, now is the concern.

He is great at studies (me too) and he is really good at Swimming, Rowing, Skating, Foot Ball, Fencing, Chess, Tennis and ........ Of all he is great in Bible studies. He plays guitar, Piano, drums and of course great with key board. Its just amazing to have a friend like him. He speaks English, French, Spanish, Arabic a little and Hindi a little.

I am equally good in studies and music with him. I am good at vocal too, where he lags. I speak English & French.

Still I feel I am nowhere near him. He has learnt all those things through his child hood tho. Am I compatible with him to be his "BEST" friend? It is only my feeling deep inside me. But he is always happy with me he really likes me and my family, the same way I do like him and his family.

He is such kind of friend that always encourages me. Never ever even dreams to put me down for his credits. He is too nice a friend to be with. He likes me a lot and also to fight with me. LOL.

woah, friends are friends because of chemistry, not because of what you can do. friendship is a bond shared by 2 people.
You said you two do Bible Studies well look at Jesus, he's our friend, he's our best friend, but He's perfect and we're not. So if you're saying that you dont think you should be his best friend because of material objects this world provides, then how can you say you're best friends with Jesus? sorry if it sounds extreme but thats what i think.
I dont think you should worry at all. You two sound like best friends. You shouldnt really compare yourself with your friends because then thats not really friendship, thats more of a competition. pray about it, and talk to him about it. good luck

Your desires to improve yourself are great, but you need to do it for yourself not anyone else.

To have someone to admire and grow with is fantastic my girlfriend and I are in the same boat. She is 53 and I am 49 nothing changes. We waited for all the complicating stuff until I became and adult, that was last year :)

Now we plan on being old together. Old is not so much fun but you on the other-hand have your youth and you should stay young as long as possible.

Find lots of good friends and enjoy while you can.

Reality bites soon enough without teasing it.

Hum.. usually it's not what you like and how compatible you guys are*, it's if you have chemistry* together, and that is the spark that will lead the way. BFF don't have to have the same likes and dislike or endeavors.

Everyone has their own talents.
Your friend's is languages, yours is music.
Not everyone is tops at everything.
Appreciate each other and yourself.
If he pulls some kind of "I'm better than you" junk, slap him.
