Why has the administration allowed the 9/11 - Iraq connection continue to go unanswered? I seem to remember years of inspecting going on after Saddam Hussein signed a treaty and violated it several times. Hence the Iraq Liberation Act, which congress voted on (like 330 - 30) for the act. This was planned years ago by the Clintons.

The Iraq Liberation Act made it the policy of the united states for a regime change and authorized the use of "defense services". The act was passed 360 to 38 (The same people we're getting ready to vote for again). So, why will no one support the war now?

Because there is no connection between the events of 9/11 and Iraq.

I hated Saddam as much as any man, but th simple fact is, the only connection he had to the 9/11 attacks is when he was dancing in the streets after it happened. Don't get me wrong, he needed to go. I just feel they should have been more forthright with that objective.

Saddam may not have funded directly the 9/11 attack. But he sure as hell facilitated the training of terrorists in his country. No doubt about that.
