The Appassionata - if you want to know where the concept of romantic music comes from - look no further - it is pure emotion.
Piano Concerto No. 4 - not as famous as the Fifth, but overall perhaps the greatest of the five piano concertos. A supreme masterpiece.

i love everything of his but if i had to choose it would be moonlight too. only beethoven, in my opinion, really uses the harmony to the fullest extent. his harmony patterns make the music come alive while other composers' are ordinary.
