Sasha is my name, my parents got it from the movie Dr Zhavigo. I have met both guys and girls with the name. Most of the guys I have met named Sasha were Russian while most women I have met were not Russian and had parents that just liked the name.

i think in the united states it is more commonly a girl's name. in europe though it is unisex.
