a question and people take the time to answer it, especially on more serious questions, I take the time to pick a Best Answer. Do you ask and just forget about them or do you pick??

I also wonder about this, too. When a person takes so much time and effort answering a question, I wonder why the person who asks the question doesn't bother to select the best answer. I haven't asked hardly any questions as I am not good at coming up with questions, but when I have asked questions, I have immediately taken the time to select the answer that I felt was the best one and the answer that I thought the person who wrote it had taken the time to put the most effort into writing it.

I almost always pick. I care. I must admit, sometimes I don't get to the computer in time. Life gets busy. I've improved though. I also read all the answers and rate them and add many nice contacts from good answers. I think there was one, I didn't know the answer too still, and I just let it go to a vote. I hope this answers your questions. I'm sure some questions are posted for the sake of posting.

I ask very few questions any more, but I always pick a best answer. Most people could care less, though, and that's what makes it bad on here now. I got best answer today for a question that was asked SIX months ago!
