Well as school has started once again and I basically lost most of my knowledge on astronomy (and my friend stole her book back) I need to know some good textbooks or just regular books that I can buy secondhand so I can study from them. Thanks :)

Oh and I'm not a beginner/novice, so please don't recommend something like Astronomy for Dummies :D

Universe.

You simply must buy this book. I've even written a review for it (under M Carter). It's absolutely awesome.

"Foundations of Astronomy" By M.A. Seeds.
It is a basic college text book, but very understandable even for the non-physics person.
It is available used from the usual college campus sources and places like Amazon.

If you can stand the "gee-whiz" in it, Carl Sagan's "Cosmos" is a good one.
