I think the dress would be fine, maybe with a short black jacket with long sleeves. I dont like the shoes tho, these would look much better:

You shouldnt show so much skin for a funeral. The dress is cute but you have to remember that it is a funeral...mourning ...so make sure you wear a cover up at the top like a small cardigan or sweater thats 3/4th sleeve and closed toe shoes. After all you wouldnt want to be the girl who showed up to the funeral looking like your ready to celebrate like its homecoming or something. Good start...just add a little more....by toning down as much as possible without looking like a total wreck . Good luck and great choice just cover up once again. +0) sorry for the loss..

Those shoes are awesome for any occasion, but a short strapless dress is gawdy. You don't have to wear black to funerals anymore, people these days just wear understated outfits. Go for conservative, its respectful and that's what matters most.
That dress is nice for a party but at $400 its way WAY overpriced, why would you pay for a name? Its all made in foreign countries like Kmart stuff is. Its gorgeous but I've seen similar at department stores for less than half.

A strapless dress is not appropriate for a funeral. Most people either wear long pants or knee length skirts and long-sleeve blouses. Think of the kind of clothes people wear to church. They dress a bit dowdy or frumpy. That is what is appropriate to look like for such a solemn occasion.

The shoes are great!
The dress you need a shawl or something to cover up your top.
I would suggest not just straps, but sleeves on your dress.
Really, the dress is a big no-no, people will talk about you, especially if you're not immediate family.
Best of luck, my condolences.

The dress is a little short and classy for a funeral. Something longer and fuller on top would be more appropriate.

those shoes are kinda ugly...good going with the black though...i'd suggest cute black flats. and maybe a jacket to go over that dress, or maybe something a little longer. you definitely do want to wear black though or dark colors and tasteful makeup. don't put your hair up like you're going to prom.
and remember...with a black dress any other day...red heels with red accessories look REALLY cute!!

Very appropriate, the dress. Sydney's got a point, add a shawl... or shrug... or cropped blazer... You may also want to consider wearing a wide brim hat, too.
the shoes are really cute... do they come in all leather? ...just in case it rains.

something you decide on is positive. human beings dont positioned on all black anymore. alot of folk are wearing blujeans with an incredible desirable. i dont think of human beings care like they used to. its classic to positioned on black, and additionally you got the black pants with pinstripes, so yeah the blue and white scarf/headband would be an incredible touch. something without holes seems ideal now days. so sorry on your loss. and being sixteen, you may extremely get by ability of with the low upward thrust denims besides. so relax and positioned on what you sense mushy in. extremely.
