In tonight's NH debate Rudy Giuliani said that the government could learn a thing or two from UPS and the way they handle tracking their packages in regard to the way we handle tracking down citizens. (For helping fight terrorism/crime etc from what I understood.)
So my question is two-fold actually.
Should the government consider implanting citizens with tracking devices and if they actually considered doing such a thing would you be willing to cooperate with such a practice. I'm curious to hear people's thoughts on this topic. This post is not an attack on Giuliani so please don't hate. I just heard this on the radio five minutes ago and found it interesting.

I'm surprised he voiced his thoughts publicly. About 13 years
ago, my husband bought a set of video tapes made by an
ex Special Forces and guerrilla fighter who had alot to share
about informing the citizens about the corruption in our top
government, as well as in the CIA, etc. One of the things he
spoke of was that intelligence had already begun plans to
inject children with tracing chips, like we have implanted in
our dogs now. The goal is to eventually have every man and
woman injected with these tracers. And there will be an iden-
tifying number assigned to each person or baby born in the
future. And this number will serve to identify anyone for any-
thing in a national data base. Such tactics used to only be
shown in the movies, but these science fiction ploys are
slowly becoming reality.
