So the car said low tire pressure. but it didn't say which tire. So i went to 76 at night just now, and the guy turned on the air machine, my first time with putting air into tires. So I don't know what the heck i'm doing. I pushed that thing into the hole, and i would expect some thing to come out to tell me my psi, but it didn't. So i gave up. but i'm scared that now i've messed up that tire, it seems full, but i'm scared if i might have made it too full.

how bad is it to have a tire that is full, i'm not sure about the other tires i didn't do anything. i had this car for a month now, and it has less than 3,000 miles. like i said, my father was around to teach me about making love, and hunting, but wasn't around to teach me about cars.

You can let air out of the tire with the pressure gauge, and then check it again. There's a pin on the opposite side of the part you check the pressure with; just press it against the falve and it lets the air out.You should always check the pressure after filling the tire.

I bet if you go to a full service gas station (if you can find one!), one of the guys will help you out, maybe even show you how to check the pressure yourself, and how to fill the tire. Ask them to see if you have a nail or screw in one of the tires while you're at it.

I used to drive a VR4 that picked up every nail, bolt and screw on the road. The guys at the local service station would plug the tires for me for $10. What a deal!

WOW at first I thought you were a chick. lol. Just Joking. Just buy a tire pressure gauge from anywhere and keep it in your car. The vehicle will have a sticker on the drivers door jam or in the left rear door jam. It will be white and will have infomation about the car like the weight, tire size and the recomened tire psi. It will say what the front tires should be and the rear tires should be. That is the amount of psi you should put in and using you tire gauge to check the pressure. And no it wont really hurt if you have to much pressure in the tire for a little but if not at the right amount, it will cause tire wear.

get a tire pressure gauge $2.99 and fill it up to what the label on the inside of your drivers side door says 30-35 psi. also gas station air pumps have a lot of water in the lines and the pump. 20 bucks says if you point the nozzle at the ground and pull the lever you will see the ground get all wet. buy a car compressor one that plugs into your cigerrete lighter socket. or stop by a local tire shop.

Go to an auto parts store and buy a tire gauge. It's only a few dollars. Ask them to show you how to use it, Very simple to do.

Be careful, over inflating a tire can be deadly. Cousin had a BF die when a tire exploded on him from overinflating the tire.

good luck.

Stop at your car dealer where you bought it and have them check/adjust your tire pressures. They will do it for free.

Plus you may want them to check that tire for a leak/nail.
