If you don't feel like it is right for you, then try to move on. You don't need to compare yourself to others, only you know what makes you happy. If you feel unfulfilled then press forward and make it happen.

Not if You love Your job! Being much older I would rather work at a job that pays $6.00 to $7.00 an hour that I loved, than a job that pays $30.00 or $40.00 an hour that I hated. If You have a College degree it opens up more opportunities for You, you're young and have time to explore and even change careers, but it's up to You what You really want to become and do, You didn't mention family or friends, one should always make time for social life. You are smart not to
accumulate debt, but the fact remains, if You don't have some type of credit history lending institutions will shy away from You because You have no credit history. I'm thinking You are a good saver, to establish some credit history You may want to think about borrowing some money via. credit union, credit card, or maybe even a small loan from Your bank. Put the money in a savings account, or if You are sure of Your job, a 6 month CD or IRA account and pay off Your loan to establish some credit history. You will still have the money and still be establishing a credit history. But in all honestly try and find a job that You love, You will not care how much You make!

Do you have a college degree? If you don't, then you're making a pretty good income for your age. The no benefits sucks though. You must be working for a private employer and not a corporation.
If you have a degree, then that's a little on the low side. Even retail management, which isn't the highest paying job, starts college grads around 40K a year.
Only you can determine if it's good enough or not. I know folks your age who only make $20,000 or so a year. Plenty of them!

It's not a bad salary for your age. At some point fairly soon though, you probably should try to find a job with benefits. Congratulations on not being in debt - you're right, many people your age have dug themselves into a deep hole by running up lots of debt.

This is something that will be very comfortin to you.
It does not matter how much you make; it's how much you keep.
Keep a budget, stay within your budget, and at the top of the list make sure you have saving as your #1 thing to do. If you don't pay yourself first, you will never get ahead.... paychecks will not ever make you wealthy - compound interest will though (as long as you are earning the compound interest).
Don't focus on your income; focus on your savings and spending within your means. :) (you will ge there.
