No! There was so much land that there was enough room for a million more.
But, they did steal, murder and rape our red brother. They stole land that was already inhabited by Indians. They murdered to get the land, food and water that was the Indians. AND they raped the women and children.

I know this seems to be a conflicting statement. But MOST of the Europeans that came here harmed no one. It was the business men that perpetrated the mayhem. They caused it all by being deceitful. THEY caused the army to invade and to kill and then to restrict our Indian friends. And they were our friends until they were lied to.

They sure did steal the land from the natives of America. The natives helped the white people and for thanks they got themselves killed or infected with the white mans flea infected blankets giving the people small pox. Some even shot them to see if they would bleed. Up until the 1800's there was a poster in the San Francisco post office offering reward for a bucks head so much for a squaw's head and so much for a child's. Just how rotten can these stupid white men get? The history books never tell you the true story, just more lies.

no, early man stole the land that is now the USA from it's original inhabitors; the animals and plants. early man became what we now know as native americans. the white europeans stole the land from the native americans, but only after the "natives" stole it from america's nonhuman inhabitants

Sure, then again as Samuel Clemens pointed out, there aren't any places in the world that haven't been stolen from the origianl inhabitants and this includes the pre-Columbian Americas.

Some of the land was bought and further West a lot of it was taken and the Indians killed or put on reservations. It's the truth, and getting mad at Indians about it won't change that.

As the Romans put it
"If your nation is not strong enough to even defend itself then it deserves to be conquered and made better"
If were gonna go on about this land stealing crap then all of Europe and Asia and Australia were stolen from the cavemen and the cavemen stole it from the dinosaurs.
All territories today have been fought over won and lost at one point, its the way things are.

I don't really see it as theft so much as people immigrating and taking up all that free land.

I mean hey, colonialism is practically invasion, but in a then sparsely populated country, perhaps immigration was a good thing.
