1 average cubit (separate from the sacred cubit)=20.24 inches.
1 yard=36 inches. So, 36-2024=15.76 inches left over (or 77.9% of 20.24).
Therefore, 1 yard= a little over 1 3/4 cubits

1 fathom=6 feet, which equals 72 inches (72 divided by 20.24) to get
1 fathom=3.56 cubits

1 furlong=220 yards or 7,920 inches
1 furlong= 7,920 inches divided by 20.24 inches=391.30434 cubits
