lately i have been hearing like a tiny cracking sound sometimes when the baby moves. I'm afraid there could be something wrong with the baby or me.
what could it be?
it sounds almost as if u were to push or brush two finger nails against each other to make a popping sound.

You are fine. Every single pregnant woman I know has experienced that at some time (me included). None of our doctors could give us definite reasons for the popping. Mine said it could just be little pockets of air getting pushed around by the baby. The baby could also be using a bone or internal organ for a punching bag. Mine always did. As long as you don't experience any water leakage after the popping noise (which could be from the water breaking) you are fine.

You are right about the hiccups, though. If your baby has those, it is very rhythmic and lasts for awhile.

The baby could be hiccuping. It's a way of preparing to breathe when the baby is first born.
