Yes, this can be very normal after sex. In women, the urethral opening is very close to the vaginal opening. Sometimes some fluids and stuff get pushed into the area where the urethra is. The burning feeling when you urinate is that stuff being cleaned out. It's actually GOOD to urinate after sex, it will decrease your chances of getting a UTI.

PS- If you are using condoms (and you should be) do not use an oil-based lubricant like vaseline, as was suggested previously. Vaseline can weaken the condom and cause it to break.

It can be sometimes and should go away in a few days, if not then you should see a dr. but it could be your just sore from the intercourse too. If you aren't lubricated enough you can become chaffed from being alittle dry there. that's why it's always good to use ky jel so you don't get sore like that. Its from the rubbing and all most likely. But you know it's not safe for you to be having sex so i hope you use protection at all times! Your soo young to be doing it with any guy right now i think and i hope you know the deal about birth control? there is so much more to having a real relationship you know. but i guess you have to live and learn? kids just don't listen! but be careful always!

Next time, make sure you are well lubricated before sex. Plain old vaseline works well. They also have over the counter lubricants. He should take his time and be gentle. By the way, urinating after sex is a good idea. It helps to flush out germs that may have entered the urinary tract during sex. Good luck to you.

Yes. This happened to me for the first couple of days. I bled, I was sore, and it burned when I urinated. It sounds normal, but check with your doctor if it will help satisfy your worrying
