You must have a low opinion of men. I was taught by MY mother that men and women are each responsible for their own actions. Only a fool and a loser gets a girl pregnant and blames it on the girl.

Should moms teach girls not to trap boys into fatherhood? Quite possibly, but the problem goes a little deeper than what should or should not occur.
While it is socially acceptable to discuss violence in America, sex is still a taboo topic. Parents don't want to accept the idea that their babies are going to be engaging in that type of activity. So while it is quite common to discipline children about violence, parents bury their heads in the sand concerning sex. This is especially true about safe sex since most see teaching kids about condoms and birth control as saying the activity is acceptable.
I know this is slightly off topic, but I simply do not see a point in debating what should or should not happen until societal views on sexuality change. A perfect example of what I am talking about occurred at the movie theater when I went to view 300. A father was there with his son, I believe the child was between 8 and 10. During the battle scenes the father was cheering the Spartans on and encouraging his son to do the same. During the lovemaking scene between the King and Queen, the father covered the boys eyes and told him he wasn't old enough to watch. Blood, guts and decapitation is fine, but consensual marital sex is bad...work the logic out on that one.
Bottom line...I believe that both genders should be taught that violence is not an answer as well as personal responsibility. That way both problems are solved and everyone stays happy and healthy.

My Daughter is only a year old. but I am raising my daughter to respect EVERYONE. I am teaching her that Men & Women BOTH can trick each other and to wait for the right man to come into her life and to wait til she gets married.
I don't want my Daughter to make the same mistake i made I didn't start out to trap her father. my daughter is learning that BOTH Men & Women are Important to God. and she will have more respect for herself only that way can she understand that real love waits.

If men are responsible then they could not be trapped into fatherhood. If you don't want to be a father then don't have sex it's that simple. Start taking responsibility for your actions.

Of course mothers should teach their "take care of me" daughters to not manipulate men into impregnating them. God forbid a guy actually has conrol of his emotions and penis, which is the majority by the way. That's not every factor that goes into having sex. Many woman can be very manipulative and will do any number of emotionally harmful things to men until they submit, and then have hormone driven sex, most likely without a condom in the heat of the moment. It takes 2 to tango, remember? So, for guys out there as someone already said, wrap it up, keep it in, or if I may be so blunt, don't finish inside her. Having said that, for the girls out there. We are not punching bags, touch the balls in a manner other than the prescribed, and like someone else already said, you're no longer a lady, and someone is getting a dead leg. That was a little off topic. Girls need to understand guys are not there no matter what. We aren't here solely to serve you, responsibility must be taken. By both genders of course. Father's need to teach their young sons respect for women, and mother's need to teach their young daughters that men are not tanks who are shoulders to cry on and will never ever leave you. Plus they need to teach girls that the point of a relationship is more than just having kids, THANK YOU.

What? Listen...if you don't want to be a father, there are plenty of ways to prevent it. Wise up. People lie about sex. Men lie about sex, women lie about sex. That's what people should understand. I can tell that the first part of your question is not relevant to what you are really asking. Hitting girls....trapping fathers...what a ridiculous comparison. If a man doesn't want to be a father, he is perfectly capable of taking steps to prevent it on his own, instead of blaming others for their own lack of judgment. Wrap it up, keep it in, find a girl you trust, ask more questions...etc etc...so many ways. Sigh....

A good question, one I suspect you will receive plenty of mockery for, unfortunately.
Yes, I agree - mothers do need to take more of a direct approach in teaching their daughters that 'accidently forgetting' to take the pill has life-long consequences for all involved... not just herself, and not just the father - but the child too.
I think also, they should start explaining to girls that boys are not simply punch bags which will refuse to hit back, as too many girls this day n age seem to think. They need to understand that *some* guys will retaliate, and it is almsot definately her who come off worse for it...
That's my bit :)

I don't believe this happens enough to make mothers really have to teach it. Self-respecting girls know not to do that. But it couldn't hurt.

That goes without saying. PARENTS should teach their daughters not to have unprotected sex until they are married...period. (Or teach them to not have sex until married.)
And PARENTS should teach their boys the same thing.
Parents should also teach their daughters not to hit PEOPLE, just like they teach their sons not to hit PEOPLE (not just girls).
