how many people out there have heard of the conspiracy theories surrounding this secret society and how many of you believe them?

I've heard at least a few of the conspiracy theories; everything from a new world order, alien invasions and mind control... I do not believe any of them. I am a Freemason, but even before I was a Freemason I didn't believe them - maybe I need a tin foil hat or something?

to some other responses:
* there is no connection between the illuminati and the freemasons. in fact, the illuminati has not existed for over 200 years.
* operative masons were builders, freemasons are "speculative" masons that study morality, friendship and brotherhood
* why does it make sense that a one world government would rid the world of the weak? and who would lead an uprising if this did happen?

freemason were builders but now these days people include them in the illuminati group. A group of people with great talent and like Davinci for example. also theres tales of a one world goverment to take place soon to rid of the weak living in this planet. which makes sense and most will be slaves guessing this will spark an uprising but the powerful individuals have the control and will illuminate the minds of the non-believers.
