i really have no idea but it a really good question!!!! they should invent a car that tells you when to stop, have a GPS to tell you where to go. it would be fun making a car like that!!!!!!!!

OK if no one is going to say it I shall, with a Crash Course

Sorry folks but I couldn't let that one pass by

Seriously though I would start with the ignition and the gear selector (automatic preferred), IE where to put the key and how to make sure the car is in park. Then I would go through the pedals which one is brake and gas. I think the best way to teach the use of the brake and gas would be to have a dual control car so the the participant can get the "feel" of each pedal one at a time. At this point it would be time to work on shifting the car into drive. Once everything is done it is time to put it all together and go for broke in a LARGE open area.

You don't teach a blind man how to drive.

There s a certain minimum of eyesight that a driver must have in order to be aware of what is going on around him. An eye test is required to obtain a drivers license. You would not like to have a blind driver driving next to you or through streets with children playing.

Perhaps in the future sensors will be so improved that you will not need to see. That may be far fetched but if it is not it will certainly not occur shortly.

Not possible. In order to drive you have to be able to see what is going on around you. Unless the blindness can be treated, or they get cars that literally can drive themselves, that person cannot safely drive.

Exactly the same way you would teach a blind woman.

That is impossible. You can lose all your senses, except for vision, and still be able to drive. Sorry, but he doesn't have the main "key" to drive.

I'm not sure of the entire process, but I'm fairly confident that the first step is to fasten your seat belt securely.
