What confuses me is trying to figure out who made it so that courses were 4 months long for spring and fall each and who was it that decided that you need to take a whole list of classes just to get a degree in a major?? I still need to find out who.

Good question.
Here's the deal.
Without a scientist's definition of anything--nobody knows the inner workings, the value, the real nature of anything.
So why do people know they're only baseball "fans"-not Tony La Russo or Joe Torre even though they've watched thousands of baseball games--yet they think they know what a fictional movie is because they've watched thousands of them? Are they insane? Or what?
They know zilch. Nada. Zero. That's what they know.
It's driving me bonkers.
