Tell her this ," Hey baby, if you don't want to ride with me, plenty of other chicks who will!"
That should adjust her thinking.

Riding is an extremely personal thing. So is being scared.
Fear is not rational, and cannot be explained away. If she won't, she won't, and that's it. Trying to put some people on a motorcycle is like trying to take me off one. It just doesn't / can't / won't happen. She will ride if and when SHE wants to.
My wife said she hated motorcycles when we first met. She would not consider even going out with a guy who rode one. She had experience as a passenger before (safely) and had suffered a family loss due to a motorcycle/backhoe accident. To make a long story short, we've been married almost 8 years, my two motorcycles have been replaced with two newer ones, and she rides with me. She has even said she wants her own. It is/was all her decision. Nothing I did could change her mind, except being me and being responsible.
If the time comes, it comes. You can't make it.
Good luck, stay safe, and maybe she will change her mind.
Women are known to do that.

it sounds like your trying too hard. pushing her to ride will only push her away. take her to a place where your fellow riders r, in the vehicle, and let her mingle with a group of riders that enjoy riding( make sure the women r there who ride on the back). this needs to happen in small steps. OR have her just sit on it without it running and see how she feels about that. suggest to start the bike and see what she says. if no, then do it all over again until she has enough confidence to go for a SHORT ride. remember that patience is the key.
i'm routing for ya..

First step is to show her that you are a responsible rider, don't be showing off in front of her or bragging about racing or hod dogging.
Have her talk with other people with bikes, especially other women that enjoy riding on the back.
Don't pressure her, eventually she may go riding with you. Maybe not, my mother never has ridden on the back with my dad. If she doesn't ever want to ride, then just consider riding as your sanctuary, where you can take off and be by yourself for a while.

Number one, has she ever seen you ride? Did you ride like a total jerk at the time?
If so, there might be your answer.
If not, have her drive her car following you a couple of times (be cool while she's watching you, save the squirreling for when she's not watching), to show her you're a careful, sane rider.
Break her in easy. Let her know you'll go slow (AND KEEP YOUR WORD!), and before hand, establish some signals, so she can let you know to slow down to increase her comfort zone (and FOLLOW these signs)

So the fact that you ALWAYS wear FULL gear, have never gotten a ticket, passed your MSF course with flying colors, don't own a literbike, have not crashed in years, and have bought HER a full-face helmet, jacket, gloves and boots didn't do anything to convince her?
Well, then, you may just have to return her gear or sell it on eBay then, because if you've done ALL the above with no success, she's just not gonna go.
But if you're a squid, I don't blame her. She's smarter than you are.

I convinced my girlfriend to take the motorcycle safety course with me.
that was much easier than trying co convince her to get on the back. on top of that, she has the knowledge, and some experience to know what should be done in dangerous situations, and she is not afraid to hop on behind me.
the best tool to alleviate fear is knowledge. if you haven't taken a safety course already, convince her to take it with you, that will be much easier, and she will probably not be as afraid of your riding once she sees you ride in a controlled area, and has ridden herself.
on top of that she will be less of a liability if something does go wrong. and much less likely to panic.
good luck though, it is still not easy.... AND DON'T PUSH HER INTO SOMETHING SHE DOES NOT WANT TO DO!!!

The worst passenger you can have on the back of your bike is one that is scared. Don't push the issue. Keep riding when you want too and maybe she'll get tired of staying home. Of course she might find someone else but you'll still have your bike.

As far as carrying a passenger, remember that if she leans the wrong way, it could throw you off balance in a turn and do some major damage.
I know girls who won't ride because don't want to be just another piece of baggage on the back (as the back of a H-D T-shirt says, "If you can read this, the b**** fell off"), dono if that's the issue, but she may not want to be the b****.

You might have to just find a new girlfriend. I've known a few that are so scared of risks that other people take for granted that it just becomes too much to deal with. But you should ask if it's your driving or just motorcycles period.
