do ants prefer honey or butter?

how would i design a controlled experiment to see if ants are attracted to honey or butter?

don't know about ants (aunts), but I am an uncle and would rather be with MY HONEY than any butter !!! (grin)

They'd probably prefer honey. Unless they are vegan ants. Then they wouldn't eat either because they don't serve butter or honey at animal rights protests.

They will go for honey simply because its natural, they are naturally designed to do what they do without effort what makes you think they would be different.
