The Office
It is the only show where you will laugh so hard that you will cry, and odds are that it will occur more than once per episode. Another difference is the beautiful use of dramatic undertone. When you think about it, the show discusses some very serious topics: downsizing, large-market businesses destroying smaller businesses, and the overall creeping of people's hopes and dreams evaporating before your eyes (think back to the "Bring Your Daughter to Work Day" if you watch the show). This show also portrays a wonderful job of the subtleties of romance without killing it like the show "Friends" did to the whole 'will they or won't they?' genre.
There is nothing that really compares in my opinion. Also, "According to Jim"? REALLY?..... WHY?

I can't pick just one, but my favorites are: The Simpsons, South Park, Read or Dream (anime), The Cosby Show, According To Jim, Montel Wiliiams Show.

Anything that has people singing and dancing whether they are good or bad. I love Idol, So You Think You Can Dance and all that stuff. I think it is sooooo funny how some people perceive themselves as super talented when they are total crap. Very entertaining. Oh, I also love the talented ones.
