So I can share files with other computer over internet. Not a home network over router.
Using IP address I suppose.
Any way to do this with out domain?

It is easier if your Router supports VPN termination then you just

1. Set up Dynamic DNS this is free no-ip.com has free ones

2. Configure a VPN Server on the Router

3. Set up the Client your friends machine

4. Connect

The advantage of this is that you can now connect to these files from virtually anywhere on the internet. Cafes, work (if they allow VPN traffic out)

I do this now but use a slightly more expensive Cisco Router as my VPN server.

You can use free VPN software to do it and you can use free DNS servers as well, to point to your router. The last thing you will have to do is setup your router for port forwarding. If you have a firewall on your computer and one in your router and you dont have them setup to let a certain port through, they will block the traffic, either without letting you know at all or with a popup, saying that you are being attacked. So pickup some free VPN software, setup port forwarding on your router, setup your firewall to let the software program send and recieve traffic, and you should be good to go.

I highly recommend making use of http://www.vpnpower.net to unblock sites. I am using their services for more than 3 years without any difficulties.
