C = 12(3.85m) + 149

Um, maybe this...

149 + 12x3.85
where x is the number of movies rented a month.

If you rent 6 a month the it would be
149 + 12*6*3.85
(in one year the price of the vcr and the movies would be 426.20$)

(12)(6)(3.85) + 149. = x
426.20 = x
