no it isnt, if ur not ready ur not ready.... and its not like u get socialy rejeckted if u dont, and unless ur the kind of person that falls for peer presure then u dont need one. and also a girlfriend seriously damages ones focus on studiing.

No. High school relationships are almost always pathetic. Do things that you will enjoy and won't regret later on. It's a good idea to do some form of community service/ volunteer work because it looks good on college resumes. But it is important to have fun too. Try out for sports , student government, join a club, do Science Bowl, whatever you enjoy doing. And don't waste your time in high school by not paying attention in class and not doing your homework. You'll wish you hadn't when you get to college and are paying through the teeth for catch up courses. Good luck! :D

Yes and no. You should try to have as many mates as possible while you're under 30. The only serious girlfriend I had was in 11th grade and it wasn't healthy. Thank goodness it only lasted 3 months.

it's not so much as being important, but it's better if you play the field for a while because these are the years that you are looking for the girl you may want to settle down with in the future. think of it like a shopping trip. you may want to be with one girl, and you will feel it and just know in you it if this could be your sole mate.

No it's more important to study and do well at school so you don't end up becoming a bum or working in a boring job you don't want to do. If you want sex look at porn it'll keep you tame from your sexual desires. You can get as many chicks as you want with a real good job or when you get to uni.

no it is not important but when i was in high school...when i had a boyfriend i was alot more grounded and focused but when i was single all i wanted to do was go party. and sometimes it sucked being single at parties but i found my true love in high school and we are getting married soon!

if you find a special girl yes. but dont plan on marrying her yet. haha. but dont get a girlfriend just because of peer pressure and "everyone else has one". wait for a special girl.
i choose not to have boyfriends cuz they get really clingy and i have no freedom. heheh.

No, it's kind of a pain in the ***. But, I had girlfriends the entire time, so I can say much about the alternative.

Its nice to have a girl to go to dances with or feel cool I guess, and its fun to go to waterparks and parties etc... ..But if you dont you always have your buddies or sports ,family..So your will most likely have one the rest of your life, so I would have fun as long as you can before a girl starts telling you what you can and cant do.........

Yes because- If your lonely she can help you. You can feel good about yourself.
No because- You might be taking hard classes and fail them all cause yourtoo busy with the girl.And if you break up, BOOM! Your grades drop again.
