Which Country song absolutly shocked you by the end of the song..The one you just didn't see coming?
I remember a few, but i think "waitin on Joe" was the one that got the most tears flowin.........I never guessed the ending to it would be so sad!...

That is a good one. 'Three wooden crosses' by Randy Travis still makes me cry every time I hear it.

In 1975 I was driving with my baby girl and heard "Spring" by Tanya Tucker for the 1st time and had to pull over on the road, cuz I was crying so hard. I don't know why that song affected me so profoundly, cuz of my struggling situation, or my babies, or both, but I connected somehow and that to this day is just the saddest song I know.

When "What'll you do about me" came out by Doug Supernaw I was shocked. But I loved that song. It is kinda funny in a way. I think someone else sang it too but can't remember who.

I have to agree about 3 Wooden Crosses. I can't imagine how anyone would have expected that ending, even as a Randy Travis fan that wasn't where I figured it would go.

"Paper Rosie" by Gene Watson and "Travel'in Soldier" by The Dixie Chicks. A kind of new one named "Where Would You Be Today" by Kenny Chesney. The video is really good. But then again "Written in Red" by Brooks and Dunn really gets to me too.
