I had two children in 16 months, so let's just say that I'm not the skinny thing that I used to be. I still have about 20 pounds that need to come off. My hubby says that he's fine with it and he loves me just the way I am. Something inside tells me that he's full of it and just telling me what I want to hear. So, fellas, are you really OK with the way your wife looks carrying all the extra baby weight?

I'm fine the way my wife looks after having quadruplets 8yrs ago. She weighs about 130 now and can wear a bikini without looking like a whale on the beach. There are too many women, kids or no kids that let themselves go. In the U.S. we have a big problem with heifers saying big is beautiful rather than talking about health issues related to being overweight.

OK - I'm answering this one ... my hubby is more attracted to me after 5 kids than he was before I had any! I was a skinny little 116 lb back then ... lets just say there's more of me to love now. I know I'm over weight - but it's pretty evenly proportioned, so I haven't got "rolls" everywhere.
And, not to sound conceited, but I must look pretty good - I've had a few hot guys hit on me! (well, hot to me ... these guys were built, 6-pack abs, arms you'd love to be wrapped in and gorgeous faces to boot ... think along the lines of Trace Adkins for those of you who know Country Music ... and one that looked and sounded like Vin Diesel [sp?]!)
While I wasn't tempted to flirt back (ok, maybe just a little tempted, but kinda hard to flirt with hubby around), it sure boosted my ego! SO - Every time I start feeling sorry for myself I remind myself of those times ... and hubby reminds me too stating that he's gonna have to lock me in my room! LOL
Thanks for making me smile today!
Best Wishes

I don't know about other husbands, but my husband loves my body. I'm 15 weeks pregnant with our second child. I gained 55lbs with my first child and it took me almost 2 years to lose all that. The whole time I was battling my weight he said he'd never want me any differently. He thinks my body is perfect because it gave him his beautiful son and he could never see it as anything other than perfect. Even when I was pregnant he loved it. In fact, he thinks it's my most beautiful time. I wish he could be here to see me this time. (He's deployed)
If you're really worried, just work out and lose the weight healthily for you, not for him. It sounds like he loves you very much, no matter what your weight is.

Something inside you? What would that something be, your Daffy Broad-o-Matic 2000?

Listen, it isn't the body changing. We aren't what we used to be, either. It's the *attitude* change.

like these gems:

"Oh, now that I'm a mom, I can't kiss my baby and give you head with the same mouth. So no more oral. Forever. Tough beans."

"Yes, I know the baby is now 4 it's been 7 months since we did it, but the baby will hear. Not tonight."

"I know our child is 19 but I am tired from sending him off to college so no sex for a few months. Take care of it yourself."

"ew, don't get any on me. don't put that there. that tickles. ick."

That's is what is the grand p*sser. But if some guy is upset because you carried his children and in doing so your body changed, then you married a gigantic assh*le who should have his balls cut off so he does not infect the rest of the world.

it would be great if you looked like Jessica Simpson......but if you did why would you stay with him
its life
great loose 20 pounds he will like it, but he seems a mature down to earth individual who accepts this is what happens when the woman he LOVES has HIS children for him

quit while your ahead thank him and love him
if you can lose 20 pounds for your self even better if not have a cuddle with hubby

Look. Your body is just peachy.

But don't take my word for it. Listen to your husband. Or if you rather, go through many years of therapy to uncover your deep, dark emotional problems that make you feel the way you do.

Otherwise, leave us alone. Stop looking for the rest of the world to solve your emotional problems. You can only heal yourself.
