No state income tax
Buyers market with home prices falling - especially condos
The Weather from November to April
The Beach
Lush and Green Year Round
Florida Parks for Nature Lovers
Theme Parks for Crowd Lovers
Generally lots to do
The Bad:
Traffic
Toll Roads
Summer heat, humidity, thunderstorms and the occasional hurricane.
Insurance Rates
Property Taxes
The Buyer's market and downturn in real estate will turn some marginal neighborhoods into foreclosure-slums.

If your from Indiana, your gonna disgrace the humidity more than ever. We don`t get breaks in the heat during the summer like up north
Other negative is the real high cost of living.
Roaches are the big problem. These are the biggest roaches you'll ever see in your life, plus they fly. You have to smack it 100 times to kill them.

I live in Florida, so I can say this from experience: Good things: Warm weather, Theme Parks, and beautiful people. Bad things: Lots of traffic, bad drivers, and intense sunlight.
