Not often. Only when I can't sleep and it is 3:00 in the morning. "What if's" are not productive, and I try to redirect my thoughts whenever I detect them rearing their ugly little heads.

Every evening when i go to bed. here is my favorite.
It is July, 1918, on the battle lines in France. the French forces laugh a gas attack later than they had planned.
if they had launched it whne they planned, they might have fully gassed and killed a young soldier, one Adolf Hitler.
What would have come of this?
