i think this is my period, but my back has been hurting for some time-a few days and my i've felt a little bloated. i just got to college the 16th of last month and my period only stayed for like 4 or so days. one of my roomates had her period last week, and i'm thinking mine was trying to sync with hers or something. today, i went to the bathroom and wiped and there was a little blood, not much and my back continutes to hurt. a few weeks ago, my boyfriend and i were messing around and the condom broke but he hadn't come, and i'm thinking the only thing that could have happened was he pre came. my period can be really irregular sometimes and i've had it since i was 10,.
thanks.

So are these new symptoms for you?
It sounds like your cycle is being effected by pheromones, which is very common when women live together.
I would take OTC pregnancy test, if you're still worried.

I'm answering this based on my experiences. You may be spotting a bit before the flow actually starts. Give it another day or so before getting too anxious. 6 months ago I had a regularly scheduled (every 28 days), easy to deal with period. For the past 4 months, I've been between 21-25 days, heavier and more sever pms. I'd like to believe that its the new women around me and my mother going through menopause. I honestly believe that other women around you and stress can truly affect a woman's cycle.

It is hard to say. It could be your period. If you have been under stress, it will definately throw your period off. It is also possible you are pregnant. Even though your boyfriend did not, their is still sperm prior to ejaculation and it only takes one sperm to fertilize an egg. I would give it a few weeks to see if it goes away. Your back could be from something totally different. If you just got to college, it could be tension, the physical moving in to college or even a urinary tract infection. Does it burn or is it painful to urinate or do you have to the urge to urinate alot, but, barely go. Try not to worry, unless it persists for two or more weeks or becomes worse.

well sweetie the only thing i can tell you isto take a prego test and if negative the 1st time wait about two weeks and try agin if negative againg than you are fine and as the saying goes the more women are around each other their periods do become more likely with one another meaning they will come at the same time or around the same time.
