I would think it would be called a freak, just as you would call a pregnant man.

The male's sperm does the fertilizing and it is the female's egg which becomes fertilized.

There is no fertilized sperm...I believe you meant fertilized egg. The fertilized "egg" or the union of gamates, is called a zygote. The sperm is produced by the man and then the woman produces ovum. They meet in the woman and then the sperm enters the egg to deposite genetic material.

I'm pretty sure sperm can't be fertilized. The very beginning of the egg being fertilized is called a Zygote.

not often, some freakish variations of fertilization can consequence in a molar being pregnant, the place there is the two no coming up embryo or an embryo it extremely is basically not waiting to outlive at beginning. There are 3 techniques this could ensue: 2 sperm can fertilize one egg, with the lack of ability of the mum’s chromosomes; one sperm can enter the egg and then divide, delivering a double dose of chromosomes to the egg as a substitute of its common single dose; or an odd sperm carrying 2 units of chromosomes can fertilize the egg.

That would be the EGG that gets fertilized, not the sperm, and it would be a zygote.

"Totipotency" is the ability of the egg to become fertilized. I dunno, but "totipotent zygote" seems redundant. Then again, it's been years since I took Biology.

Sperms CANNOT be fertilized. It is only the egg that will be fertilized and the fertilized egg will be called a zygote. =)

A life.
Actually sperm cannot become fertilized, as it is the fertilizing agent. Eggs become fertilized by sperm. The pro-choice term would be a zygote.

As people have said, it's a zygote. And GEEZ Ms. Blonde, using a scientific term doesn't mean everyone here is pro-choice. Take that chip on your shoulder somewhere else, will you? People like you give the rest of us pro-lifers a bad name.
