this is for my acting and the audition class. Our assignment is too act out a character,but our character is talking about us and explaining the only thing i can think about talking like is gangster, so please help me... thanks.. just give me any gangster slang you know and tell me the meaning. no swear words

Da ting is, sister, you gots to understan der ain't notten dat is gonna do da job. Got dat. Wats you do is be, ya no, suttle. Make um tink yous for reals. I means, yous don wants to seem to cla....cla...yous knows wha I means. Like ifs I scratches my cheek upword wits me finger nails. Dats the cla ting I was referren to. Lots o luck. Break a leg, or I's coming over an breaking it for ya.

Real gangsters don't have a certain dialogue. I come from a rough background, and I have had affiliations in the past. Gangs aren't something to joke about, and for the most part, the crips and the bloods are working to IMPROVE communities now - not shoot each other up. Find a different way to convey your message. I talk just like your average joe - but I'm from the hood. I've jumped people, and been jumped. I've rolled with some hard people... we all talk like normal everyday people. The guys you see on MTV are performers. They have a show to do. 99% of them come from the frikin suburbs. Don't get me wrong - there are a few real gangsters...
Kanye West is a good example of someone who's a real gangster. He doesn't use stupid slang. He's from the ghettos of Chicago. Common is another good example - from the hood - doesn't use pop-culture slang. Use your common sense and intelligence to create a character that is real - not some pop-culture icon.

Not all gangsters have same dialogs....
For me, I will say this when I want to ask something...
Oi, you stupid idiot, I want this box of biscuits, you better give me or else I give you a big box and take away all your things.
I know this may sounds silly and stupid, but I wish it may helps you a little.

I'd tell you to watch the Godfather and Goodfellas, those are perfect examples of gangster talk!
