When Foxnews says they are fair and balanced they mean they do not create news stories and put a spin on eather the conservative side or the liberal side. They only report the news, which is exactly what all of the news medias did up until about 30-40 years ago when most media outlets were taken over by the liberals. So Foxnews is the only media outlet that can legitimately grill the Republicans or the Democ('cough:' excuse me!)rats.

Because Ron Paul does not have a chance. I watched him on the debate. He really doesn't have a clue as to what he is talking about. Libertarian not Republican!

Why is Fox News so "Fair and Balanced" ?

That would be because --- they don't get out into the sunlight all that often ----- AND --- when you go out so far on a limb as often as they do -- you better excercise SOME balance !!!

The Republicans deserve to be grilled -- preferably over high heat and turned regularly !!

And, sweetness, you are about to learn just what type of "nut case" Ron really is ------- A HARD NUT TO CRACK !! One that is about to turn the American Apple Pie into a fairly generous helping of Pecan !! And, one that is on the verge of creating a serving of Rocky Road for some of the Republican "plain vanilla" !!!!

Now why would you consider Ron Paul to be a "nut case"? He is a libertarian and the Republicans have been spouting libertarian principles for years now and winning. Is the real problem that Ron Paul is honest? I've seen you screaming to the heavens about your support for the Republicans. So, the only problem you could possibly have with Ron Paul is that he is honest about limiting the powers of the Federal government and you're simply a neocon who has some sort of allergic reaction to honesty.

Funny - all the Ron Paul fans are saying he copped a hard time from them.
Guess the idea of fair and balanced is still somewhat subjective hey?

I can be fair but partisan; I can lean way to the right and still stand balanced. Rupert Murdoch is considered to be an extreme republican. When he started it he said, "We started this news channel to return the balance to neutral in the media. It is so liberal we need to make this balance."

After you have seen Dan Rather(biased) in action complete with phony documents just before an election, you realize that Fox really is Fair and Balanced.

"Fair and Balanced" means that both sides of an issue is aired out..... So when some sibilance of truth comes out...some consider it a vast right wing conspiracy.

I only wish that FOX News had the opportunity to grill the democrat candidates. Preferably after marinading them for a day first.
