Oxiclean makes a stain remover for babies and it's great. I think the directions say to soak for an hour but if the stain still isn't out soak it for longer. I left some clothing soaking for 24 hrs and the stains came out completely. Also Zout stain remover is great too, I find that it works really well on greasy type stains even ones that have been washed and dried in the dryer.

I bought the new Shout Advanced for set in stains. It worked wonders. We had some baby clothes given to us that had a few stains that had been there for a very long time. It removed them. The longer you let it set on the stain, the better. Give it a try.

Every morning I fill a mop-sized bucket with hot water and a scoop of oxi-clean. Throughout my day I throw my sons soiled clothes and bips in there and let them soak. When I wash them they come out like brand new. I would try that. My mother encouraged me to try it, b/c she says it works great. . . and so far i've had excellent results with it as well.

When my boys were very young, someone gave me some undershirts that were stained. I read somewhere to soak them in very hot water and automatic dishwasher detergent, then launder as usual. It did a beautiful job. They looked brand new.

depends on the stain... my husband thinks I'm nuts... but I always use dishwashing liquid to get food stains out.

Especially anything that has oil in it. That stuff is supposed to be a "grease fighter" so it works great on food stains like ice cream.
