I'm at a 32G and it is really killing my back, I want to down size to about a C cup, will that be to risky? Or should I go up another size cup or two. Because I also heard that you're body might not be use to the drastic change and your breast could root off.

No I'm pretty thin at 125lbs, Most of my weight is in my breast and bottom. If I lost weight I'd probably be anorexic LOL!!

You said you had difficulty breast feeding? How so?

That is NOT true. Many women can and DO breast feed after a reduction. Check out this site: http://www.bfar.org

I was a 38J and am now a 38C and my back is loving it. I do not regret it at ALL

The benefits far outweigh the risks. You can go to a C cup most likely. Talk with a plastic surgeon about your wishes.

Your breasts won't rot off. :)

I saw a woman go from a J to a B, so it can definitely be done well. I would look at plastic surgery websites for doctors in your area. Make sure you see at least 10-15 examples of their breast reduction work before you choose them as a surgeon. Someone who is well-versed in breast reduction should have at least that many examples to show.

I would say get a consultation with at least 2 doctors beforehand.

Breast reduction surgery is not really a major surgery because they don't cut into the abdominal cavity, so the chance of surgical complications is very rare. If you've never had surgery before, there is a very small risk of having a reaction to the anesthesia. Anesthesiologists are doctors that are specially trained to administer the medicine and if someone has a reaction it's before they begin the surgery (so don't be afraid of waking up during surgery, it never happens).

Overall, you'd have more medical complications with having large breasts, including damage to the shoulders and back. So definitely think about this carefully before choosing to have the surgery or deciding against it.

Good Luck!!!

HI Lina! I have had a reduction. It was 13 years ago, and I am so glad I did it. I did, however, have difficulty breast feeding my son. Make sure you have a reputable surgeon if you decide to do this. Also, if you are heavy elsewhere, they may require you lose weight before the surgery. Good luck!
Oh, and the surgeon will help you decide what size you should consider...

Breast reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
