Especially when the answer chosen is terrible and the person who gets the points is a top contributor with a 50% Best Answer rate.
And there's three answers but 7 voters and five of them vote for that crappy answer.

Yes all the time. I sit here and try to find the most informative answer and throw in a bit of wit. But, alas sometimes I come up empty. I think some of it has to do with the voting deal. I know everytime I ask a question I am sure to follow it up with a selection for best answer. But, we still chug along and log on here and try to make an attempt to entertain ourselves and others.

All the time. When I put all my effort into an answer, I re-read it and think it's gold. But when I go back to that question a few days later to see that it has been resolved, and that mine wasn't best, I read the Best Answer. Most of the time, I still think mine was better, but I leave it be. It's too late to complain anyhow.

All the time, I generally try to answer questions that could be answered on fact not the ones that ask who's the hottest or who is your favorite because that is personal opinion, but even the askers pick the ones that are they're personal favorite ,whether the question is answered right or not.

Yes I have, and it was, but there was also one time that I thought would get voted as best and I still don't know, some kid wanted to poison his competition in a high school play, I couldn't believe this, and I told him so, and a lot of other things, I also asked him what his parents would think if they knew what he was up to !!!!!!

It's just like performance on set or stage.
You think you nailed it perfectly and the
chill of the audience silence paralyzes
you inside. Or the directing individual
in all his or her wisdom says that 3 letter
word "cut!" and you want to explode.
Other times you're sure you're off and
it is what they decide is right.
Like cats above said, it's a mystery.
