I have this friend who farts all the time, and when he stays at my house, he wants to sleep in my bed. But he stinks so bad. How can I tell him no without hurting his feelings?

JUST TELL HIM. It's not like your telling him you cheated on him with his girlfriend. Tell him to stay out of your bed because his farts skink and you don't want to smell like a human fart. If he get's mad, just tell him to adjust his diet. Your dudes, not pansies. Stand up like a man and tell him...or continue smelling like his farts.

Do ya'll sleep in the same bed together? If not, then wash your sheets after he sleeps there. If you do, then tell him you just are not comfortable having him in the same bed, unless you are comfortable with it.
The next best thing would be buy him some Beano, and suggest he try it. Tell him "Dude you reak like mad, and I can't stand your smelly ***. Take this Beano so I don't have to shove a cork up your ****" As far as I know, most guys have no problem telling each other they stink.
He could also have a medical condition that causes excessive gas and is embarassed by it and doesn't mention it and just lets everyone think he is a nasty farter.

Hurt his feelings? Tell him he stinks and it's gross. He's obviously not worried about how you feel or else he'd be apologizing and embarrassed by his odor problem. If you don't tell him someone else eventually will. Just tell him you enjoy his friendship but the farting has got to stop or you will limit time with him to the outdoors.

Just be straight up & tell him. If he is a close enough friend to sleep in your bed with you,then he is close enough to be straight with. Or you could buy a bottle of air freshener & spray his behind everytime he farts. Then maybe he would get the answer.

Never mind his feelings. He doesn't care about yours. He knows he smells. No one likes the smell of a fart. Just tell him he is stinking up your room with his nasty farts.

Seriously speaking, you can ask him to take a shower when he visits your house to spend the night .OK let me rephrase it before he comes over your house let him know that he must take a shower before bed. If he is fooling around the house and other people are around, say hey dave, or whatever his name is, come here for a second then say ......Yo when you gonna take a shower cause you mad cool and all but you have to take a shower and then pass MY smell test before you can sleep in MY bed. Then ASK him to look at your face look him in the eyes and say i'm not playing dave/whatever his name is.Then say well if you don't pass my smell test you can sleep on the living floor. I think i have sleeping bags or blankets in the closet.

Is there any way to let him know without telling him? No! Just tell him, or else you'll be the one suffering from the stink. But I you can do it nicely like "Hey dude I'm sorry to tell you this but, you smell." There is no nice way to tell him.

Buy some Beano, leave it in the bathroom or on the kitchen counter...Take one yourself, and offer him one of them, while saying,"I don't want to stink you out of the bedroom after eating that dinner, which gives me gas SO bad!" He may know he has gas, and be thankful you have the Beano!

Firstly are you serious. Firstly make up an exuse and say him that you are really sorry for what you are gonna say. then tell him that he has a farting and stinking problem. that might just do it.

tell him that that you dont mean any harm but he stinks and that he needs some kind of gas medicine if he plans on sleeping near you...if he`s your friend he`ll understand, imagine if you were doing it to him, I`m sure he wouldnt like it
