I cannot sleep on my stomach or my side as I can't breath well due to my breasts. I am 5'2 with 36 dd and I have also noticed that they are starting to sit lower. When my time of the month arrives my breasts are extremely sore and my back pain is quite bad.
Will OHIP cover my reduction and lift? I have heard that they do, just need clarification!
Thanks!

I believe that they only do if they are causing you to have extreme back pain - as it sounds like you are...

I would talk to your doctor about it - (s)he will know for sure.

The biggest drawback to this surgery lies in the breastfeeding department - if you plan to have (more) kids, there is a VERY high chance that you will be unable to produce milk...

you must tell the doctor that the big breast are causing bad back pain, especially if it is upper pain. You have to consult a plastic surgeon and they have to send a form into OHIP to be verified that they will pay. The lift will be covered in the reduction. There will also be a cost for the consult with the surgeon.... My wife had it done about 10 years ago and it was covered.....but remember to tell them that it is upper back pain is the reason for the reduction and don't say anything about cosmetic....OHIP will not cover that for sure.
Very painful recovery time for about a week...but wife said she would do it again in a heart beat......it was well worth it...she was 38 DD......huge now they r nice....but it does leave scars so u will have to put up with not having perfect skin on ur breasts....I don't mind them at all....my wife has fare skin so they don't show that bad.....one more thing...if ur over weight the doc may tell u to loose weight first....just a thought.

They will if you complain of back pain and other health issues.
