Ok, this is kinda wierd for me. My period suddenly stopped in June, and through to July. In August I got it over 3 days, which is kinda unusal for me, and now in September it hasn't come again.

I'm 16, and virgin, so it's not that. Is it normal? It's been quite regular 'till now.

Remember, our bodies aren't machines working like clockwork.
All kinds of things can disrupt or delay periods - stress, change in diet, extreme exercise, hormonal imbalances (which are not unusual in teenagers), all kinds of things.
If you're SURE you're not pregnant, and everything feels fine, then don't worry about it, it will probably show up (of course right when you don't want it).
However, if you don't feel quite right (slight fever, aches or cramps, nausea) even if its minor and lasts more than a day, or if you are just worried, then see your doctor to get things checked out.

Being 16 your body is probably still adapting to change and development. I wouldn't stress too much about it, if your on the pill, or have just commenced using it this could be the reason why. If your not on the pill, pop in and see your doctor, because trust me, your not the first, nor the last. I'm the king of abnormal periods, and I'm still healthy. Don't be afraid to ask your doctor, or if you have a health nurse at your school, you could have a chat with her!

Could be a growth spurt. They can happen anytime. All women experience unusual periods at some point. Now's the time to go to a Gyno and get the normal exam. Maybe some birth control too. It will help regulate them also. Stress can cause a delay also. So take it easy and relax.

your body is still adjusting, so it is normal for you to still have irregular periods. also if you have been working out more or have been stressed that is a reason why your period would stop

Have you been exercising or been under any stress? That could be the reason why.

Please go to the doctor. It might just be hormones because of your age but the sooner you take care of it the better.
