No is the short answer. No is the long answer. Have a look at the maps --either google or yahoo maps you will see the quebec province is still part of the Canadian territory...the revival of quebec cessation from the rest of Canada -- is a political subject that surfaces from time to time -- and then deepens into the ocean. at present, with all the new immigrants flooding into the province --hard to see how the subject could be a political issue again. Quebec has succeeded very well in Canada.
There has been talk of seceding from Canada for years, but nothing has come of it.
