Depends on the school to some extent...but then your diploma is really irrelevant...unless you want to put it in a frame and hang it on your wall, you'll never use it again (all three of mine are in a box somewhere). The transcript is what you show employers and that will list all three degrees.

One thing that MIGHT lead a college to issue two diplomas was if the two majors were different degrees...at the macro level. Universities issue two basic undergraduate degrees...a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Bachelor of Science (BS)...some award a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) but that's not important with your degree.

The way I remember it, history and classics are both BA degrees...so is sociology...so technically, you are only earning ONE degree...a Bachelor of Arts...with a "major" in ...

I graduated with a double major, and recieved only one degree. Even if your second major was from another faculty you will only recieve one degree because you only completed enough credit hours to fufill the requirements (sometimes called residency requirements) to only graduate from one faculty. Essentially, the second major is treated as a minor although you completed enough credits for it to be a major. IT WILL show up on your transcript as a double major.
Also, because your two major areas are from the same faculty, there is no way they will award you two BAs.

Both of your programs are B.A. programs, right? Most schools just give one degree with both majors (your minor will show on your transcript but not your diploma) if you'r pursuing two majors that award the same degree. Your school may do it differently, but I think that's most likely.
