The majority of pople don't dislike Hillary--though she's hardly the warm and fuzzy type!

But the idea of a strong independant woman--especially one who potentially is the leader of the country--is extremely frightening to the neoconservatives--on a very deep psychological level. Bear in mind--most of these people have grown up and been socialized in a subculture in which men are supposed to be superior--and women submissive, weak, and docile. There is no room for the independant woman in their worldview--scuh women are alwasys protrayed as threats--as dangerous. And indeed they are--they threaten the myth of male superiority--and they also are dangerous to the women of that subculture, because they present an alternative to submission and servitude. They may inspire some women--which is a threat to the men--and cause others to question the legitimacy of their roles--which is dangerous to the whole patriarchal subculture.

So--Hillary is not merely a political opponent--she is a challenge--a threat--to their view of the world as they conceive it. The wonder is that she's not being attacked even more than she is.

You're about to get an ear full. She's two faced, power hungry, mean, and spiteful. She does not care for anyone but herself. The election is not about what is good for the country. It's about how much power can she attain. The only reason she stuck by her cheating, lying husband is because she has no popularity without him. He has all the charm. She may be brainy, but along the way, she's forgotten why people run for public office. It should be about the people and how to make the world a better place for everyone. But she lost sight of that and has made this all about her. I just hope that everyone who commented on your last question will get out and vote next year for ANYONE besides Hillary.

I dont care if our President is male or female. I do dislike Hillary. She is all for abortion, no matter what kind. She is for a more socialist economic policy (not that socialist though). She is for tougher gun-control. I do think that she could reform the health system though. However, if we do lose economic freedoms, it would probably be under Hillary. Hillary doesnt seem real or honest. Examples are her tryinig to sound 'black' or 'southern'. She seems to be the kind of candidate to tell you whatever you want to hear, as long as you'll vote for her, doesnt this sound a lil like Kerry? She is for pulling our troops outta Iraq. Dont get me wrong, I dont know whether we should have invaded Iraq or not, but we have to finish what we started. What im looking for is a new strategy and more willpower than Bush. Hillary is a politically correct candidate, not an ethically correct candidate, and this is somewhat scary. We need to keep values in the system (which now we have none) in order to thwart corruption (we which currently have a lot of).

i do no longer dislike Hillary yet i will take a stab at it. as nicely that knee-jerk reaction from human beings on the excellent to something Clinton--and that's ninety 9% of it--there's a perception that Hillary is a political animal who will do very almost something interior the activity advancing her profession in public place of work. in spite of if that's the case--and that i'm no longer totally confident that's--that's no longer unusual for many politicians. besides the fact that i think of that perception mixed with the reality that she's a woman punches buttons on a brilliant form of people. i think of that asserts greater with regard to the individuals than it does approximately Hillary. i don't be attentive to that that's a reason that individuals dislike her yet she is sorely lacking interior the air of secret and heat temperature in her public appearances that served her husband (and GW) so nicely. maximum of the time she comes off slightly cool and wonkish. That purely does not charm to stable old individuals who decide for a sturdy stump overall performance from a candidate. in addition to i do no longer think of a likable 'id' for American women individuals politicians on a countrywide point has been widespread yet yet because of the fact of those perceptions i do no longer think of Hillary is going to do lots to define it.

Bill Clinton got elected president largely on his promise of universal health care for Americans. He put Hillary in charge of the project and I'm still waiting for something to happen. Now she wants to be president.

Neither she nor anybody else in politics has the guts to mention price gouging by doctors and hospitals, who are in a position to prescribe money for themselves and their friends.

Which Hillary? She'll be and say whatever you want. She's an unimpressive legislator who lets opinion polls write her position du jour. She's also seems to be a thoroughly unpleasant, unprincipled and unlikable person. Can't stand her.

P.S. When she became a Senator from New York, she instantly became a "life-long" Yankees fan. Give me a break!

personally i am not fond of her, but i do not "hate" her. My mom got to met her during some union thing and when she showed me the pic, Hilary's smile looked like it was forced and had a corn cob up her behind. I can not answer for other people, but i just do not think she would be a good president. Have a good one.

The woman appeals to emotions, not intellect, never says the same thing to the same group, and covers reality with smoke.
She learned well from her Comintern masters.

She's also has managed to accomplish absolutely nothing of value to America except to give emotionally-based citizens a snow job.

This is intuition, not fact.

I have the sense that Hillary is guided by polls and focus groups, and never really says what she believes.

I also think she is shrill at times. That one is a fact.
