I currently drive an SUV but I am considering purchasing a Truck the next time I purchase a new automobile. What is the difference between a Truck and a SUV and which vehicle is better to drive?

a truck has a bed and a SUV dosent. go with the truck u can put a bad *** motorcycle r a 4 wheeler in the back. i like the ford Harley Davidson and that Nissan

First, years back laws were passed that said that by the year ????? ALL CARS have to get x miles to the gallon of gas! Work trucks and vans were utility vehicle's, car makers saw that the public still wanted big cars to travel in so they fancied up the utility vehicles with all the buttons and started calling them Sport Utility Vehicles(SUV's)so now the car makers weren't under the law to make trucks more fuel efficient only cars! They still made money and they broke no laws.......SUV's and trucks are still considered utility vehicle's!

Truck and SUV is not spelled that is one difference.... SUV back a few years was a station wagon... Drive a 1/2 ton van body with a conversion package... You will appreciate the fold down bed in back....

an suv will carry more people than most trucks will,both are large vehicles unless you go for a mid sized one ,or the compact one,just more room basically ,that's the difference,that and the price of it,there's gong to be a lot of difference in that part of it,and maybe some of the features available on them,good luck with it.

Depends on what you need it for if you're a soccer mom, the SUV if you're a workin man or just want to be cool try the truck, THE TRUCK BOSS, THE TRUCK!!!!!!!!!! Try chevy f*ck them fords dodges and by all means those junky Toyotas, unless of course the TOY has a CAT diesel

Depends on what you'll be using it for most of the time.
SUV = Sports Utility Vehicle
Usually used for pleasure, comfort, uneven terrains, luxury, and can endure occasional lite hauling (hard labor)
TRUCK - is used mainly for relocation/delivery purposes
PICK UP TRUCK - is almost same as the SUV except the luxury and comfort part.

van is a normally big about 9-11 seater mitsubishi montero sport is SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) which is designed for off road travel
