Being gifted is a good thing or bad thing depending on how you look at it. Everything is based on perception and it makes sense on however you choose to make sense of it. My look on it is being gifted is a talent, a strength - if you so choose to use it to your advantage, a unique characteristic that makes you a little more different than Jane next door. Whatever the gift is, if you acknowledge it, understand it, and learn how to use it to your benefit - than its a great thing!

anybody can be gifted.Everyone usually has the same brain(exept mental people,or people like Einstein;who had limied speech part of his brain and a larger side lobes.)It all depends on how you are broght up and how much intelligence you have in a certain subject ex. if you know and study alot of math chances are you will understand math.I think kids that don't seem inteligent weren't brought up the right way; don't have the will to learn and gain inteligence. You must have the will to learn new things there for you understand more.
the will to learn develops your mind quicker.

sometimes being "gifted" helps.college and career wise. But Being very inteligent in some classed things like math and science wont help you socially.
alot of high IQ kids have trouble talking and getting along with there piers because there mental age is much higher. like a 15 year old having a mental age of 20 wouldnt reallyfit with classmates. And often high IQ people dont have much social inteligence.
I hope this helps you uderstand your situation better.

Everyone's 'gift' is different. My own is an ability to see any problem from quite a few points of view at the same time. It had made me into a very sharp problem solver and a sound decision maker. It also gave other people something to hold against me. Mediocrity hates gifted individuals, because they can not catch up to them. The sooner you accept this, the easier your life will be.

Gifted in what way?
We all have different gifts. Some are exceptional athlets. Some are great a math. Some play the piano like Mozart.
What is your gift? Perhaps you should make that your occupation.

Hello there
I think it is th ability to access the unconscious quickly
to be able to come up with an answer very quickly
when the conscious mind does not have the answer, gifted people have the ability to tap on to the unconscious mind to get an answer

Hope this helps

Gifted minds usually see things differently than other people which is why they can find simple solutions to problems that are tough to other people.
