I'm a nanny and get 50+ a week, 10 bucks an hour. So I definitely have money to buy stuff, but I save a lot of that too. For BTS shopping my mom paid for most of the stuff and I got extra stuff like shoes, which I'm obsessed with. It depends how much money you're making doing whatever, just talk to your parents about it. It feels great to make your own money and save up for stuff though.

I started using my own money for all my clothes in seventh grade.
My parents had five kids and not much money, so I planned what I needed, and did without for a lot of things.
I don't think I owned more than two bras at a time until I was 18.
I still feel really decadent when I open my drawer and have 7 or 8 different bras, and about 20 pairs of panties.
It depends on how you were brought up, and how well off your parents were.

At your age, (i'm 22 now) I didn't work ( in australia you have to be 14 and 9 months to get a job) so I used to ask my parents for money to go shopping.
They are more likely to spend more money if they go shopping with you, as you can persuade them to buy more expensive, or just more things as you have the visual aid of showing them what you want.

I'm 13, and i use my parents money and then i use my own money but i usually go with my mom at the store but i don't really walk by her she buys me extra stuff i think its better to spend your money with your friends because its more fun and your mom will think you need more shirts if you don't bring your money!!! there is no reason to feel bad because there offering it and most people at are age have there parents give them money we're only 13 i evan have a job it doesn't really matter

My parent's pay for most of my back to school clothes, since I need them. However, anything that's not a necessity, I use my own money to buy it with.

Use some of your own and some of their's. Using your own money teaches you responsibility. You'll learn how to save also because when you spend ALL your money, you'll look back and wonder "Where did it ALL go?". You'll learn the value of a dollar and next time you'll know to save. :)
