World in conflict game?

I guess this seems dumb but is it possible to play as the Soviets?

No, it's not dumb at all. Axis & Allies (Milton Bradley and Avalon Hill) lets one play the Soviet Union although you are the weakest player in the game that contains the US, Britain, Japan and Germany. Twilight Struggle (GMT Games) recreates the Cold War with the Soviets playing against the US. You might want to elaborate about what era, if any, of Soviet history you would like to play.
