My neighbour is trying to change the bearings in the drive shaft on the 2001 elantra. We can't get the old bearings out. How do we do it?

The 2001 Elantra has front wheel drive. You must remove the halfshafts first. The only bearings are located on the wheel spindles that are secured by three bolts on the disc brake side of the spindle. Remove the bolts and beat the bearings toward the rotor side of the spindle. Draw the new wheel bearings in with the three anchor bolts.
